Dr. Turner has been practicing in the Valley since graduating from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio in 1998. He opened Mesa Family Dentistry with one employee in July 1999. Since then, the office has grown to a full-service family dental practice, and recently moved a few miles east to Val Vista and Southern in Mesa.

 

Dr. Turner started his laser training in North Carolina in 2006 and purchased his Waterlase MD (hard- and soft-tissue laser) at the beginning of 2007. He has his associate fellowship in soft-tissue lasers from the World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI). He also has received his associate fellowship and full fellowship in hard-tissue lasers from WCLI. 

 

He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association. He belongs to several dental study clubs to keep up with dental education.

 

He is an avid SCUBA diver and is a lifelong lover of Star Wars.

 

In 2008, Dr. Turner began teaching one day a week as a clinical professor at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health here in Mesa. He retired from teaching about ten years later to focus on his new office that opened at Southern and Val Vista at the end of 2020.

 

Dr. Turner has been married to his wife, Vikki, since 1992 and has four children. He lives in Mesa.
